Refund & Cancellation Policy — GuptAI

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to purchases of GuptAI, operated from India by the operator reachable at getdeaddictedllc@gmail.com. By making a payment you agree to this policy. It is written in plain English and is consistent with the requirements of our payment gateway, Razorpay.

2. Setup plan (one-time ₹4,999) — 7-day refund if install fails
We stand behind the done-for-you Setup service.
- If we cannot successfully install and run GuptAI on your machine (for example, due to a problem on our side or an incompatibility we cannot resolve), you are entitled to a full refund of the ₹4,999 Setup fee if you request it within 7 days of the setup attempt.
- To claim, email getdeaddictedllc@gmail.com within 7 days describing the issue. We'll first try to fix it; if we genuinely can't get it working, we refund in full.
- Once GuptAI has been successfully installed and handed over to you working, the Setup fee is non-refundable, because the service has been delivered.
3. Managed plan (₹2,499/month) — cancel anytime, no refund for partial months
- The Managed plan is a monthly subscription. You can cancel at any time — there's no lock-in and no cancellation fee.
- On cancellation, your plan stays active until the end of the current paid billing month, and is not renewed after that. You keep using GuptAI; we simply stop the managed updates/support at the end of the cycle.
- We do not provide refunds for partial months. If you cancel mid-cycle, you will not be charged again, but the current month's fee is not pro-rated or refunded.
- We do not issue refunds for months already billed and passed.
4. Free Self-Install
The Self-Install plan is free. There is nothing to pay and therefore nothing to refund.
5. How refunds are processed
- Approved refunds are made to the original payment method via Razorpay.
- Refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days of approval; the time for funds to appear depends on your bank/card issuer.
- We will confirm the refund by email once initiated.
6. Exceptions and fair use
- Refunds will not be issued where there has been abuse, fraud, a chargeback initiated without first contacting us, or a breach of our Terms of Service.
- Because GuptAI runs on your own machine and we never access your data, refund decisions are based on whether the paid service we agreed to deliver (the Setup install, or the current Managed month) was actually delivered.
7. How to request a refund or cancel
- To cancel the Managed plan: email getdeaddictedllc@gmail.com (or use the cancel option in your account) before your next billing date.
- To request a Setup refund: email getdeaddictedllc@gmail.com within 7 days of the setup attempt, describing the issue.
We aim to respond to all refund and cancellation requests within 2 business days.
